1. DULCE - Hawaii is a popular wedding destination but the high cost of wedding photography can sometimes cause trouble in paradise. High-end Honolulu photographers Visionari addressed the problem by establishing a sub-brand, called Dulce, to appeal to couples on a budget.

The website developed by John Wingard Design + Hibiscus Interactive isn’t your typical wedding site. To appeal to 20-somethings, it uses a fresh pastel palette with funky, Japanese-inspired iconography along with a cartoon character of indeterminate species.

JWD also developed various marketing components to assist in Dulce’s branding, including a booth at a high-profile wedding expo. The booth featured signage, candy jars with the Dulce logo, and branded tote bags that are still seen on the arms of young women around Honolulu.
